Transformation

We believe that people who are connected to Christ and filled with the life of God experience continual transformation. Our desire and priority is to be moved, changed and shaped by God's life, God's words, and God's power. The touch of God changes everything. We are immersed in a continual process of re-creation, where God's life fills us, God's words move us and God's ways reframe us.

Mission

The mission of Jesus Christ demands movement. His love is for all, his life extended to all, his passion on behalf of all. His example was always to move toward those yet to have experienced the essence of his life, many times in the face of a motionless religious establishment. The cessation of movement signals atrophy, stagnation and death. But lives in motion expressing His mission are truly alive. As we are moved in mission, we actively give reason for the hope that we have, doing so with gentleness and respect. Our hope is tied to the message that the Kingdom of God and the God kind of life are available to all who place their trust in Jesus. The values of the Kingdom of God continue to move us to extend our lives with Christ, speaking for those who have no voice, standing with those who are powerless, giving where there is need, healing where there is brokenness, and reconciling where there is contention.

Innovation

Innovation can be defined as "change, something new, and perhaps contrary to established customs, manners, or rites." We believe that our world and our cultural environments are ever changing. Therefore, constant adaptation and evolution must occur within us if we are to faithfully embody the message of Christ in these contexts. Moreover, we recognize that we worship the ultimate creator and innovator. We pray that we will always risk, dream and innovate, and, that we will never to succumb to the atrophy of spirit and soul that comes from disconnection to the giver of dreams. May fresh expressions of faith, hope and love always open new doors, deprive us of our comforts, and birth fresh, dynamic, experiences with the unchanging, ever innovating Christ as we join him in his mission.

Dependence

An awareness of our deep need for God enables a dependence upon his power and action to bring about God movement in our lives and in places of need in our world. This dependence compels us toward passionately awakened prayer and prepares us to experience the dynamic of God's power poured out in our lives continually. We expect the expressions of God's power within us to activate transformation, mobilize mission, empower compassion with action, and awaken the expression of spiritual gifts.

Development

Every individual is created with incredible potential and is designed for a life of abundance overflowing with powerful, life-giving expressions of the treasure hidden deep within. Failure to awaken, develop and maximize this many faceted God deposit in lives is eternally tragic. May those who become a part of this community experience an environment that provides catalyst, challenge and context for the awakening of gifts.

Deployment

The mission of Jesus Christ depends on the deployment of inspired and empowered spiritual entrepreneurs. Empowering these artists, leaders, futurists and dreamers unto active involvement in Christ's mission is imperative. In the context of this community may many realize fully their connection to a life of great influence in the story and movement of God.

Connection

Our divine design finds fulfillment in connection. Community is the context where faith takes shape. The communication of truth in love yields wholeness as each are built up. Each individual makes a difference as their contribution and action shape, inform and strengthen the whole. Community becomes a catalyst for greater expressions of love and sacrifice.

Application

The movement of God cannot be experienced by mere contemplation but must be wholeheartedly engaged. Belief that lacks power to mobilize action is without value. The words of God, when engaged with humility and acted upon in faith, produce harvests of abundance. When heard yet not applied they remain like unplanted seeds never bearing fruit. May we be always involved in hands on, real world application action. May we learn as we do, grow as we go, and move beyond the starting line of belief into the dynamic, powerful, experiential reality of applied faith.

Compassion

Compassion demands involvement. When confronted with the hard-hitting reality of needs that exist in our sphere of influence, we cannot simply walk on by. To separate from the need is to separate from the heart and power of God. May Christ's compassion alive inside of us cause us to live "sleeves rolled up" fully engaging the culture, meeting needs however we can and so demonstrating tangibly the essence of Christ.
